The Beechcraft Baron is a light, twin-engined piston aircraft developed by Beechcraft. The Baron is a variant of the Travel Air, and was introduced in 1961. It is a good twin engine aircraft for business, utility and advanced training aircraft. In service since 1961. Built in a few versions. Replaced by BEECH 58 Baron. Production ended in 1982. This plane is a solid flying, fast airplane that easily hauls four adults and luggage. 142 gals (136 usable) at 180 knots gives you legs to go just about anywhere quickly. It's a tremendous IFR platform as well.
