Vortex generators, gap seals, wide chord flaps combine with the more powerful engines and these extra features confer excellent short field, climb and single engine performance. Have operated off 500m grass strip. NDH. Dual pole and dual toe brakes with heavy duty discs and three puck calipers, and has propeller unfeathering accumulators.
Economical cruise burns not much more than a high performance single, around 70 lt/hour, giving TAS 165kt for around 900nm safe range. Higher speed cruise is 190kt+.
