Dan Jay Aircraft Sales, Inc. was founded with the goal of offering our customers the most airplane for the dollar. We have built a reputation for buying and selling high-quality airplanes. In addition to BRAND NEW PIPER AIRCRAFT, we only offer for sale aircraft that we OWN or aircraft for which we have EXCLUSIVE brokerage agreements. We guarantee our customers real airplanes that we are able to deliver.

Danford A. Jay has been involved in the general aviation industry since 1966. Following studies in Aviation Operations and Management at San Jose State University , he went to work for, and eventually managed ATCO, the nation's largest distributor of Piper airplanes. That position led to placement with Piper Aircraft Corporation as Sales Administrator for the U.S. Western region. Since then, nearly three decades have been spent in retail aircraft sales.

Our longevity in the business has resulted in increased activity in the area of specific aircraft acquisition for our clients. This represents the most challenging aspect of our business; analyzing our customer's exact needs. Many times we determine that a lower cost airplane may be more suitable than what the buyer had originally thought necessary. Our value-added ingredient is knowledge; the ability to identify the best possible plane at the best possible price. Our effort and experience is geared to save our buyers, sometimes, thousands of dollars, even after paying our modest fee.

After a great 32 years in the San Jose/ San Francisco Bay Area, in 2002 we moved our home and sales offices northward to the beautiful city of Chico in the Sacramento Valley, California. Here, we enjoy a relaxed venue from which to serve our aviation-minded customers. At Chico, we enjoy major airline service connections through San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and we're only a 25 minute flight, if you should require a pick-up from Sacramento International Airport (SMF).
